For the benefit of Christian readers, this introduction provides some essential information about Islam in addition to the Islamic attitude towards Christianity and the Bible:

Who is Allah?

Say (O Muhammad): he is Allah,the One and only;
Allah, to Whom the creatures turn for their needs;
He begets not, nor was He begagotten; and there is none like to Him." (Qur'an, 112:1-4)

'Allah'(subhanna wat'ala) is the name of the God of Muslim, Christians and Jews. He is the God of
Prophet Moses'peace be upon him'(pbuh), Prophet Jesus (pbuh),
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and all the other Prophets.

The name 'Allah'(subhanna wat'ala) is not a new name, but rather the true name of God. it is used by Muslims as well as arabic-speaking Christians.

...and say: "We believe in that which has been revealed
to us and revealed to you (Jews and Christians);" (Qur'an,29:46)
what is Qur'an?

The Qur'an is the literal Word of Allah revealed to his Prophet Muhammad (pbuh),
through the angel Gabriel, about fourteen hundred years ago.
The Qur'an is the eternal miracle of Islam.
Allah(subhanna wat'ala) has Challenged mankind to produce anything to match it
or even match one short chapter of it, yet no human has ever been able to meet the Challenge.

And if you are in doubt about what We have reveald to Our slave (Muhammad), then produce a chapter of the like thereof, and call your witness (supporters and helpers) besides Allah if you are truthful. (Qur'an,2:23)

 IS GOD UNHELPFUL?

What the Bible Says

Hear my prayer,O Lord, listen to my cry for help; be not deaf to my weeping....(Psalm 39:12).

Why do you hide your face and forget our misery and oppression? (Psalm44:24).

What the Qur'an Says:

And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad) concerning Me, then I am indeed close (to them ). I respond to the prayer of the supplicant when he alls on Me. So that they may be led aright. (Qur'an 2:186).

Is not He best Who responds to the soul distressed when it calls on Him, and Who removes the evil, and makes you inheritors of the earth? Is there any god with Allah? Little is that you heed! (Qur'an,27:62).

 DOES GOD SLEEP?

What the Bible Says

Then the Lord awake as from sleep, as a man wakes from the stupor of wine. (Psalm 78:65)

Awake, O lord! Why do you sleep? rouse yourself!...(Psalm 44:23).

What the Qur'an Says

Allah, none has the right to be worshiped but He, the Ever Living, the One who who sustains and protects
all that exists. Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens
and whatever is on the earth. (Qur'an, 2 255)

IS GOD UNJUST?

What the Bible Says

....Aweke, my God; decree justice, (Psalm 7:6)

why does the Almighty not set times for judgment?....(Job 24:6)

Let God weigh me in honest scales and he will know that I am blameless. (Job 31:6

then know that God has wronged me and drawn his net around me. Though I cry, 'I've been wronged! I get no response; though I call for help, there is no justice. (Job 19:6-7).

What the Qur'an Says

Truly, Allah wrongs not mankind in aught, but mankind wrong themselves. (Qur'an 10:44).

Surely, Allah wrongs not even of the weight of an atom, but if there is any good deeds, He doubles it and gives from Him a great reward.(Qur"an 4:40).

Think not Allah is unaware of what the wicked do. but He gives them a respites till a Day when eyes will stare in terror. (Qur'an 14:42)

GOD'S DESCRIPTION

What the Bible Says

...they trembled because he (God) was angry. Smoke rose from his (God) nostrils; consuming fire came from his (God, burning coals blazedout of it.(2 Samuel 22:8-9).

(GOD rides an angel (cherub) )

And he (God) rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind. (2 Samuel 22:11)(KJV).

What the Qur'an Says

And who can be more unjust than he who invents a lia against Allah. (Qur'an, 6:93)

There is nothing like Him; and He is the All- Hearer, the All-seer (Qur'an 42:11)

So invent not similitudes for Allah ( as there is nothing similar to him, nor He resembles anything). Truly, Allah knows and you know not. (Qur'an, 16:74)

 CAN GOD BE SEEN?

What Bible Says

So Jacob called the place peniel, saying,"it is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared.(Genesis32:30)

Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and the seventy elders of Israel went up and saw the God of Israel...
(Exodos24:9-10)

contradicting Verses from the Bible

But, he (God) said," you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live"....(Exsodus 33:20)
No one has ever seen God...(1John 4:12)

What the Qur'an Says

No vision can grasp Him, but He grasps all vision.(Qur'an,6:103)

 GOD

DOES GOD RELAX?

What the Bidle Says:

...for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed. (Exodus 31:17) (KJV)

...on the seventh day he (God) rested from all his work. (Genesis 2:2)

What the Qur'an Says

And indeed We created the heavens and the earth and all between them in six days
and nothing of fatigue touched us. So bear with patience (O Muhammad) all that they say,
and glorify the praises of your Lord, before the rising of the sun and before setting. And during a part of the night glorify His praises and after the prayers...

We are best aware of what they say. and you (O Muhammad) are not one to force them (to belief); but warm by the Qur'an him who fears My threat. (Qur'an, 50:38-45)

Say (O Muslims):"We beleave in Allah and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Abraham,Ishmail, Isaac, Jacob, and to the Tribes, and that which has been given to Moses and Jesus, and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of t5hem, and to Him we have submitted (in Islam)."(Qur'an,2:136).

The Qur'an mentioned the names of the some of those Books: Scriptures of Abraham, the Torah, the Zabur (Psalms), and the Injeel (Gospel). The Scriptures of Abraham were completely lost,
while some part of the original Torah, Psalms and Gospel are still preserved in the bible mixed with what people's own hands wrote, as confirmed in the Qur'an:

Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands
and then say, This is from Allah," to puschase
with it little price! Woe to them for what their hands have written
and woe to them for that they earn thereby. (Qur'an,2:79)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Surah/Chapter 024 - An - N รป r. Verse 61.

There is no restriction on the blind, nor any restriction on the lame, nor any restriction on the sick, nor on yourselves, if you eat from your houses, or the houses of your fathers, or the houses of your mothers, or the houses of your brothers, or the houses of your sisters, or the houses of your father's brothers, or the houses of your father's sisters, or the houses of your mother's brothers, or the houses of your mother's sisters, or (from that) whereof you hold keys, or (from the house) of a friend. No sin on you whether you eat together or apart. But when you enter the houses, greet one another with a greeting from Allah (i.e. say: As - Salamu 'Alaikum - peace be on you) blessed and good. Thus Allah makes clear the Ayat (these Verses or your religious symbols and signs, etc.) to you that you may understand.

Surah/Chapter 073 - Al-Muzzammil. Verse 20.

Verily, your Lord knows that you do stand (to pray at night) a little less than two - thirds of the night, or half the night, or a third of the night, and so do a party of those with you, And Allah measures the night and the day. He knows that you are unable to pray the whole night, so He has turned to you (in mercy). So, recite you of the Qur'an as much as may be easy for you. He knows that there will be some among you sick, others travelling through the land, seeking of Allah's Bounty; yet others fighting in Allah's Cause. So recite as much of the Qur'an as may be easy (for you), and perform As - Salat (Iqamat -as -Salat) and give Zakat, and lend to Allah a goodly loan, and whatever good you send before you for yourselves, (i.e. Nawafil non - obligatory acts of worship: prayers, charity, fasting, Hajj and 'Umrah, etc.), you will certainly find it with Allah, better and greater in reward. And seek Forgiveness of Allah. Verily, Allah is Oft - Forgiving, Most -Merciful.

GOD'S POWER

What the Bible Says

Jacob Wrestles with God!!!

Then the man said, 'your name willno longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God
and with men and have overcome.' ( Genesis 32:28)

What the Qur'an Says

They have not estimeted Allah His Rightful Estimate. Verily, Allah is All Strong, All-Mighty. (Qur'an 22:74).

PROPHET MOSES AND PROPHET AARON (pbut )

What the Bible Says

On that same day the Lord told MOSES,... This is because both of you broke faith with me in the precence of theIsraelites at the waters of meriban kadesh in the Desert of Zin and because you did not uphold my holiness among the Israelites. (Deuteronomy 32:48-51 ).

So all the people took off their ear-ring and brought them to AARON. He took what they handed him and made it into an idol

cast in the shape of a calf, fashioning it with a tool. Then they said, 'These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt." (Exodos 32:3-4 )

What the Qur'an Says

And mention in the book MOSES. Verily, he was chosen and he was a Messenger, a Prophet. And We called him from the

right side of the mount, and made him draw near to Us for a talk with him. And We granted him his brother AARON, a Prophet, out of Our Mercy. ( Qur'an 19:51-53 )

O you believe! Be not like those(JEWS) who annoyed MOSES, but ALLAH cleared him of which they alleged, and he was
honorable before ALLAH. (Qur'an 33:69 )

And AARON indeed had said to them beforehand: "O my people! You are being tested un this, and verily, your Lord is(ALLAH).

the Most Gracious, so follow me and obey my order." They said: "We will stop worshiping it (the calf), until MOSES returns to us." (Qur'an 20: 90-91).

And We gave them the clear scripture. And guided them to the right Path. And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among the later generations. Peace be upon MOSES and AARON. Verily thus do We reward the good-doers. Verily, they vwere two of Our believing slaves. (Qur'an 37: 117-122 )
